We left the Keys behind us until we return in March. We stopped in south Dade Metro to see the Coral Castle. This structure is well worth the visit. A 100 pound five foot gentleman from Latvia built and incredible castle from coral that he dug and shaped by himself then moved the entire structure when civilization was getting too close. See the attached pictures for a glimpse of his creation.
We Spent the night in Miami at the Jim and Penney Thompson RV park. This is a beautiful park owned and operated by Dade County. It has a new waterslide adjoining the park since we last visited and is next to the Miami zoo.
